Signal Fauna

A slow chat game. Creatures surface in your channel while you stream; chat types !catch to take one and !bank to register it. Collections belong to viewers and follow them between channels.

Installing adds the bot to your channel. It asks for one permission, channel:bot, which is what lets it read and answer in your chat. Your access token is never stored — the permission lives on Twitch's side, where you can withdraw it at any time.

Going through with it sets one cookie that lasts ten minutes and identifies nobody. It holds half a one-time code, so that whatever comes back from Twitch has to come back to the browser that started it and not to somebody else's.

Pick a biome

The biome decides which creatures surface in your channel. You can change it later by installing again.

Removing it

Uninstall Signal Fauna. You authorize once more so we know which channel to remove — nothing you or your viewers collected is deleted, and installing again picks up where it left off.
